Washing Machine proudly presents
Kicking off 2020 with a psychedelic whizzbang, we’re hugely excited to welcome back BBC Introducing-endorsed skyscraping festival stars SUN SCREAM. Joining us are very special guests, Sarf London supercombo HURTLING, comprising former Something Beginning With L multi-instrumentalist Jen Macro (also known for her work with My Bloody Valentine and Blur’s Graham Coxon), fellow SBL alumnus Jon Clayton, and Simon Kobayashi of monstrously under-rated art-pop marvels Smallgang. As if all that wasn’t enough, we’ve also got total shoegaze heroes LEMONDAZE, the live debut of DRUKPA KUNLEY (featuring Sam Marsh of The Machismos/Volunteers/Jacob’s Mouse) and epic indie legends STEALING SIGNS. I mean, I know I’m biased, but I honestly don’t know what more you could ask of us.

WASHING MACHINE IS A SAFE SPACE
We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, crew, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in 2019/20 we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.
