On Friday 20th July at The Constitutional Club-social club, we’re serving you hot summer realness with a fundraiser for Bury St Edmunds Fringe Festival, starring funkalicious festival kings Stretch Soul Gang, BurySOUND-slaying hard rock heroesKelodown, the winner of this year’s Bury Songwriters Competition Lucy Grubb, and hotly-tipped MC Shadley Harris. There’ll also be comedy from Aaron Hood, PAULJØRGEN JACKSON, BIMI ADEYI and ALEX GREEN, and sketches fromQuirkHouse Theatre Company
The Bury Fringe (based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK) is a volunteer-run, independent arts project, working alongside local promoters to showcase and celebrate the amazing wealth of arts and culture happening in the West Suffolk area on a grassroots, DIY basis. This year’s festival featured more than 40 events, showcasing a gigantic range of music, theatre, comedy, poetry and film, involving hundreds of artists and promoters.
HOWEVER, despite the festival’s success in putting on a great series of shows, we didn’t quite make enough money to cover our promotional costs. So to ensure the festival can happen again next year, we’re making up the difference in the only way we know how: by throwing a MASSIVE PARTY to which EVERYONE is invited.
7pm-midnight; 16+ welcome; and tickets are only £4.95 via the event page:
