Central Audio Lab
New Noise in a new venue! For the first time ever the brilliant Central Audio Lab Recording Studio (on Smart Street) will be a venue for the night. The line up we have is fuppin’ brilliant. Topping off this night of glorious noise will be the brilliant Decide Today, who is all the way from Cincinnati in that there USA.
This event is strictly, and we mean STRICTLY Ticket Only. There’s only so much space in the venue so we need to control numbers. If this event goes well hopefully there will be many more in this brilliant space. So if you’re sat on the fence a bit, but really want to support your local proper-alt music scene then you know what to do. Just in case you don’t know what to do I’ll give him a hint – buy a ticket.
Because of where this gig is happening the start time is early – 6pm! Please arrive early so you don’t miss any of the performances.
Here are some more details about who is making noise on the night:
Playing Ipswich for the first time as a part of his European tour. This is Hard breaks, gabber kix, anarcho-punk ethos, DIY hiphop, industrial noize, non-cryptic lyrix, stealing more xerox copies than you could physically fit in your home, animal rights, eco-defense, solidarity in the struggle of marginalized communities, tour without regard for national borders…
Local man makes loud noises using confusing algorithms and compelling squalls.
Hypnotic, occasionally terrifying trance / noisebleed inducing immersive electronic terrorcore.
Not so much crossing the line between audio and visual so much as attacking it and bending it to his will.
Odd pounding swollen sonics.
It’s coming to get you, and you won’t know how. You will know when though, it’ll be tonight. Sublime sonic suggestiveness.
TWO BLIND MICE
Bowel-troubling low frequencies from one man, his bass guitar and a knowledge of soldering that laughs in the face of logic, reason or safety.
DJ JAM SANDWICH
I have absolutely no idea what this is all about. But it wouldn’t be a night of experimental music if we had all the answers would it?
